2nd Tbilisi Belt & Road Forum opens on 28-29 November

Tbilisi Belt & Road Forum will take place for the second time on 28-29 November, 2017. The forum is to be held under the patronage of H.E. Giorgi Kvirikashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia and jointly organized by the Georgian Ministries of Economy and Sustainable Development and Foreign Affairs.

 

2017 Tbilisi Belt and Road Forum aims to serve as a biennial platform for high-level dialogues between governments and private sector. In this respect, the Forum plays a very important role.

 

This year, the Forum expects to host 1000 political leaders, diplomats, experts, representatives of international and multinational organizations and corporations to discuss factors concerning regional and global trade development and facilitation, e-commerce and digital potentials, transport infrastructure and energy business.

 

In addition to discussions on wide array of issues during the two-day meeting, the Forum also offers companies opportunities to participate in business-to-business meetings on 29 November for networking and information sharing.

 

2017 Tbilisi Belt and Road Forum will continue the mission of 2015 Tbilisi Silk Road Forum where over 800 delegates from more than 50 countries, with official government delegations from 34 countries, participated.
