SRCIC signs agreement with Belarusian State Food Industry Concern

On 30 March 2017, SRCIC and Belarusian State Food Industry Concern held the conference in e-SilkRoad cooperation at Consulate General of the Republic of Belarus in Shanghai. The Belarus political and business delegation was led by Mr. Alexander L.Zabello, Chairman of Belarusian State Food Industry Concern. Deputy Secretaries General of SRCIC Ms. Tian Xiaohong, Mr. Wang Bin and the GM of Silk Road eCommerce Sun Baoshan, and Deputy General Manager He Shan participated in the conference. Mr. Valeriy M. Matsel, Consul General of the Republic of Belarus in Shanghai, and Ms. Yelena Malinovskaya, Head of the Office for Coordinating Domestic and Foreign Sales, also attended the conference.

 

 

At the conference, Alexander L. Zabello proposed Belarus vodka as the commodity for “One country one commodity”, and invited Ms. Tian Xiaohong and Mr. Wang Bin to introduce the operation of www.esilkroad.com and the successful case of online sale of Georgia wine. Ms. Tian suggested that the goods for “One country one commodity” is not limited to liquor products, but also commodities with national characteristics and representing features to be easier for promotion. The Belarusian delegation was very interested in the eSilRoad cooperation model and hoped to select good products for more cooperation in future.

 

 

At the end of the meeting, both parties reached consensus to communicate more efficiently with a working team jointly built in Shanghai. A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between SRCIC eSilkRoad and Belarusian State Food Industry Concern for this purpose.
