The 32nd CACCI Conference held in Istanbul

The 32nd CACCI annual conference was successfully held in Istanbul, Turkey on 23-24 November. Leaders of commercial associations from Turkey, Australia, Bangladesh, India, Iran, Laos, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka attended the conference, discussing the development opportunity between public and private sectors in Asia-Pacific Region, and cooperation in trade, industry, economy and other areas.

Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay, Turkish Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan, CACCI President and SRCIC Honorary Chairman Jemal Inaishvili, and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President and SRCIC Honorary Chairman M. Rifat Hisarciklioğlu addressed the opening ceremony respectively. SRCIC Delegation led by its Financial Committee Chairman David Kiang attended the conference and introduced SRCIC pragmatic cooperation mechanism and platform under the Belt and Road Initiative.

The CACCI Council Meeting elected a new round of leadership. TOBB President and SRCIC Honorary Chairman M.Rifat Hisarciklioğlu, and Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI) CEO and SRCIC Vice Chair Oyunchimeg Magvan, were re-elected as CACCI Vice Chairs.
